Hello, my name is Melissa! I have house sitted for cats and dogs for friends and family. I loved taking care of animals so much I decided to join Rover. I have taken care of cats my whole life. I had 3 cats growing up. I currently have two cats of my own. I helped take care of pets after Ian and I'm available for an emergency you may have!

For friends and family I have sat for I have helped feed the animal, cleaned their litter, washed dogs, and taken dogs on walks. I have taken care of senior dogs and given dogs oral medicine. I'm happy to help with any special care an animal may need. If your pet has any anxiety let me know and I will try my best to help calm them in my stay with them.

Melissa took great care of Dexter and communicated with me every day along with pictures. It feels so good to be able to trust someone like Melissa to take time to communicate with me when there is a problem. She is Terrific!! As Melissa's dad, I can attest to the fact that she is a wonderful, deeply caring, thoughtful, and very conscientious person. She is also kind, compassionate, and gentle; someone who holds all life in the utmost regard, and who always treats every creature -- animals as well as people -- in exactly the same way that she herself would like to be treated. She has consistently demonstrated her trustworthiness in caring for our family pets (3-4 cats depending on the time-frame), both while her mom and I have been traveling as well as when we've been home. I have every confidence in fully and unreservedly recommending her to provide loving, reliable, and compassionate care for your pet(s).
She did a great job watching my 2 small dogs during a weekend, following the instrucitons regarding food and restroom needs accurately so they were well fed and no accident inside my home. She showed alot of patience with my dogs and was able to give them the attention they needed while I was away with an emergency.
