There’s nothing better than pets!
I am an experienced pet owner for dogs and cats. I had a yellow lab who lived a great life of 14 years. Until I am ready for another pet of my own I enjoy petsitting and fostering while at home or even while travelling out of province or country! I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. I had a cat growing up and have worked and volunteered with local service dog organizations. My dog had a significant medication schedule at the end and mobility issues so I am comfortable in those situations. I work from home and I have a vehicle to get around in which dogs are welcome in. Melissa is kindest, loving and caring dog sitter ever. I fully trust her with my dog and house and will definitely be using her again. My dog can get a bit anxious and Boz immediately took to her and felt comfortable.
Melissa was great; she sent me updates and pictures of my precious Bella while I was away. Bella is always a little shy at first but it didn't take her long to warm up to Melissa and they had a great time while I was away on business. I would not hesitate to to reccommend or have Melissa sit for Bella again!

Melissa was absolutely wonderful! Our dog LOVED her (was sitting in her lap within minutes of her walking through the door) and sent us photos of their adventures over the weekend! She made us feel so comfortable and we know Olive had an amazing weekend.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Melissa stayed at our home while we were away and took incredible care of our pup Luna. Not only was she attentive to our dog’s medication needs and sensitive to her separation anxiety, but she also went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and active, taking her on fun adventures that clearly made her day every time. We came home to a happy dog and a tidy home, and we got regular updates and photos that really put our minds at ease while we were gone. It's clear Melissa genuinely loves animals and understands their individual needs. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for responsible, compassionate care. We’ll definitely be booking again!

I live very close to hiking trails and have a pet friendly vehicle so pets are rarely left home alone. I enjoy caring for pets wherever they feel the most comfortable - which is often in their own home.
A typical day
Get outside and enjoy walks by the lake or hiking nearby trails. I also have a number of friends with pets so we often plan day trips in and around the Okanagan.
