Animals have been part of my life since childhood — dogs, bunnies, horses, and even llamas. I’ve had everything from boxers to Frenchies and chihuahuas, so I’m great with all personalities, from shy pups to big goofy puppies. I genuinely treat every pet like family and focus on creating a loving, safe space while you’re away.

Otis had a great time with Melissa! She was punctual, friendly, and had excellent communication both before and during her stay. She even sent photo updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated. Otis was instantly comfortable with her - always a great sign as a pet parent. Since this was my first time using Rover, we did a video call beforehand, and I really appreciated how thorough she was in asking about Otis’s needs, behavior, favorite toys, and what to watch for while he’s recovering from an eye injury to ensure he was doing well.
Melissa has done a wonderful job taking care of my sweet girl, Harlie. Communications were clear and pictures playing together were very sweet. Highly recommend

I love the way Melissa cares for Arturo. When they’re together, she doesn’t just watch him, she basically becomes an extension of him. She cuddles with him, tunes into his moods, and actually gets what he’s needing in the moment. I really appreciate how she listens to expectations up front and then delivers exactly what we agreed on. And honestly, the way she talks to him? He melts. Watching them together always makes me smile.
I can’t recommend Melissa enough! She absolutely loves animals and treats them like part of the family. We grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for dogs comes naturally to her. You can tell how much heart and attention she puts into making them feel safe and loved. She’ll care for your dog as if it were her own!

Schedule
I work remotely on an East Coast schedule, so I’m typically finished by early afternoon. This gives me availability for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. Evenings and weekends are flexible, and I’m able to spend quality time with your dog.
