Animals are just so fun
Hello, my name is Melissa. I LOVE all animals and if i could have a farm I would but that’s expensive so I settle for doing this on the side to make extra cash and spend some time with other critters. I have 2 pups of my own and I love them like they are my kids. They are very friendly and welcoming to other animals including cats. I have a large fenced backyard and dog run area with shade, water bowls raised beds and kiddy pool for pups that like water. If the weather is nice I usually let the pups be outside as much as possible or until they want to come inside. When I’m home everyone is loose and free to roam the house as long as they are potty trained. Pups can hangout with us on the couches. Everyone sleeps in their crates, or on my bed if they’re good, big dogs are usually left to sleep in the living room. I have extra dog beds. If i ever leave the house it won’t be for more that 3-4 hours. I’m self employed and work only 4 hours a day. I give the pups potty breaks pretty frequently. The safety of all the pups is my priority always so for that reason I don’t allow all the pups to be loose and together if I’m not home to supervise. Everyone is always separated if we step out. Drop off times are before 8 am and pickup times are after 6pm. I will accommodate your pups as much as possible. Anything we can do to make your pup comfortable just let us know. I have been doing this for 5+ years and am pretty used to all types of pets. I have experience with fish, reptiles and small mammals as well.

Melissa was very good with tom, allowing him time to warm up and feel safe with her. She was very conscious of introducing my cat with her dogs to ensure the environment was controlled and safe. Melissa is also very quick and responsive to texts, making it easy to get a hold of her and get updates on how Tom was doing. I would rebook!

Schedule
I only work part time and have lots of time to come home to check on everyone. I’m off Saturday-Monday. When I’m at work I’m only gone 4hours or so.

Safety, trust & environment
Pups are always loose and playing with toys when im home. They’re allowed on couches. Get Frequent potty breaks if i step out for a few hours i always separate everyone and crate just for safety.

A typical day
We have a neighborhood park near by that I take the pups for walks. Usually takes 30 minutes there and back. I love dogs so we usually snuggle them a ton and play with them and treat them like our own.
