I have recently graduated from the Animal Care program at Sheridan College. There I learned basic first-aid and CPR, training/restraint/handling technics for both dogs and cats. I grew up with both cats and dogs, my entire life. I have also worked at doggy daycares and currently working at Pet Valu. I believe my combination of knowledge, compassion and love for animals sets me apart from others.

Safety, trust & environment
As I live in an Apartment I will not be providing care in my home, I also have a cat with FIV and cannot bring any new pets around as a safety precaution. I am available to provide care in clients home as directed.

Melissa has been a reliable caretaker for my two rescue cats, one who has neurological issues due to malnutrition and the other with FIV. she takes great care of them and gives recommendations based on her expertise and experience. They seem to thrive while with her, taking extra care due to their special needs. I highly recommend Melissa!

Schedule
This is my full time job. I have a few clients that I do daily walks and drop-in visits for so I am away for 3-4 hours in the morning.
