I have been around dogs and caring for them since high school. I have a relaxed household that allows dogs to enjoy their stay. Our bulldog is an easy companion who likes to play and to sleep. I treat animals like they are part of the family. I understand that every dog has its own personality and needs to be cared for in ways that match their temperament.

We had such a wonderful experience with Melissa! She took amazing care of our dog and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly genuinely cared about our dog. She kept us updated and made sure she was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. We came home to happy a happy dog and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again!
Melissa and her family did such a great job with Tucker while we were out of state for a family wedding. Tucker tends to have separation anxiety when away from his people, but he was very at home with Melissa! Thank you for providing peace of mind while we were away!
Gus had a great time and was well loved while we were gone. Was able to watch on short notice, and very responsive.

Schedule
I am a stay at home mom with one daughter. I am available for week day or weekend bookings. Dogs are welcome to come for the day or board as needed.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a ranch style house with only 2 stwps. A very friendly 5 year old bulldog. We have a 5 year old daughter. Our dog is crate trained. I use baby gates to help keep a safe environment.

A typical day
We love to take morning walks to get the day started. I offer quiet time throughout the day as well. If the weather is bad, we play fetch or run around in the garage to keep active.
