I am a teacher, so teachers do not work in the summer. However, I do work teaching summer school and a camp in June. I can work evenings and remain overnight. I have the entire month of July off. My children are grown, so my schedule is flexible.

I can provide references. I live in a secluded area, so when I am home, they have free range. My dogs are leash trained. During the day when I am home, they remain in a crate. I live six minutes from work, so they arent in their crates all day. My oldest daughter lives with me, so when I am away, they are taken care of.

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog both menatally and physically. I absolutely love to take dogs on a refreshing walk, whether it be in a park, neighborhood, or trail. Doggies love to sniff while they take in all the smells from outside. I am your girl for leisure walks and ball fetching fun!

Pet care experience
What sets me apart from all sitters is my deep depth for all animals. As a child, I have always developed a love for animals. My love and compassion for animals spilled over into the education field working with students with special needs. Presently, I have four rescue cats, two classroom guinea pigs, and four dogs, one of which is a rescue. I volunteer with my country's animal shelter, and I have fostered and saved many animals. My love for critters is endless.

Melissa was a fantastic cat sitter! She is a very caring individual who took very good care of our "baby", and was very kind, considerate and timely. She definitely has a great love of animals, and our cat was very well taken care of and loved. We would absolutely ask her to care for our cat in the future!
