A typical day
Every pet is unique, so I tailor each day to their personality and needs. For playful pets, that might mean interactive games, toys, and exercise to keep them happy and engaged. For more relaxed companions, we’ll enjoy gentle cuddles, brushing, or simply keeping each other company. I make sure every visit includes fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter box care, and plenty of love. If your pet enjoys outdoor time, we’ll take safe walks or explore the yard. My goal is for them to feel cared for, entertained, and stress-free until you return.

I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles - and even farm animals like chickens, goats, and sheep - my entire life. Friends and family trust me to keep their pets happy and healthy while they’re away. From daily care to administering medication (including to an entire flock of sheep!), I bring patience, skill, and genuine love to every animal I meet.

Melissa did a great job taking care of my babies in my time of panic. Our cat sitter decided not to show up, so I had to book someone fast to refill our cat’s water bowl. She was able to come the next day early in the morning to get them taken care of. I will be sure to book her in the future to relieve any future traveling stress.
Melissa is fantastic! She took great care of our kitties and sent updates and pictures while we were away. One of our cats is shy around strangers and Melissa made sure to bring her food closer to her hiding spot to make her more comfortable. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our babies were well cared for.
Melissa was incredibly great with my fur baby. She made sure he was happy well taken care of. She played with him and gave him lots of belly rubs!!
Melissa did a fantastic job! A couple of very minor things changed that were not mentioned in my initial instructions to her and she did not miss a beat. Great communication, positive attitude and very precise. I’ll be calling on her to tend to our hens and sheep again….may even throw in the 2 Corgi’s as well! Thanks again Melissa!
