Love & care, just like home.
I'm pretty sure I was born into the paws of my German Shepard, Gretchen! I've always had dogs, have taken care of other's pets, trained puppies as well as mature dogs, and can detect specific breeds even within mixed. Dogs are my therapy and heart, and I can think of nothing more appealing than opening my home up to care for other's dogs when they need to be away. I have an eight-pound Yorkie named Nina who will be 5 in June 2025, and have recently brought our old, family dog Siegen in. He is a beautiful black lab, and he will be 12 in May 2025. They both adore other dogs, running in the back yard, and lounging with me in the house. Both of my pups are very respectful and calm. They have free reign of the house when I am at work, and freedom to go in and out whenever they want when I'm not at work. We'll take terrific care of your fur babies!

Melissa has watched my animals multiple times. Each time, they are happy and loved when I return to pick them up. She is so caring and able to handle my German Shepard/Husky mix who is quite the handful. She has watch my cats for days at a time. They are healthy, behaved, and the litter box is clean when I get home. She clearly loves animals and my animals love her. She is an excellent caregiver.

Programa
I work Mon-Fri, 8-4pm. I dedicate my mornings, evenings, and weekends to being home with my dogs, and your dog(s) will fit right in with us!

I have a pet friendly home and a good sized, fenced in back yard. My dogs sleep on their beds in my bedroom, and are allowed on the couch, which is covered for them. First thing, out the door for a good potty while I get their breakfast ready. They generally go out 2-3 more times just to run around while I get ready for work. I live 8 mins from my office and can easily come home to let them out if needed during the day. I'm generally home by 4:30pm; they greet me at the door and head out to romp in the yard while I get their supper ready, then we spend a nice evening together. On weekends I'm outside with them as much as possible, playing with them, grooming, etc. They truly are my closest companions! Oh, and I have a huge candy jar full of every sized Milk Bone!

I have a lot of outside plans this Spring/Summer, which include fixing up the back yard for myself and the pups. I will be putting in flower beds, as well as looking into a fun way to add an agility 'course' for additional doggy fun!
