I will care for them just like you would and will keep you up to date frequently to keep your mind at ease. You'll be able to enjoy your time away knowing they are in the best care. About Me: I'm a huge animal lover, though my love for dogs has always been the strongest. I've always wanted to be a dog behaviorist and trainer, and have read up on what's best for dogs and their mental/physical health. The goal for my doggie clients is to have them feel at home. I have worked at Doggie Day-Care facilities, was a volunteer dog-walker at my local shelter, and cared for many dogs throughout the years. Growing up around dogs of all sizes makes me comfortable not only with any size, but with any number of them. I believe that what is best for them is consistency, rules and boundaries, sufficient mental AND physical exercise, and of course lots of love. I have two kids - 6 and 8 - who have been around all kids of doggies since they were babies. We are very active and walk in any type of weather - accommodating for each dog's needs. Does your dog need a run? No problem. A leisurely walk sound better? Sounds good to me. A romp in the yard? Let's play! I work from home and am able to care for your pup literally most of the day. Pet Care: When you place your dogs' care in my hands, rest assured that they will be happy and safe. I follow their routine as closely as possible, give them plenty of exercise, and adapt to any special needs they may have. Whether at the comfort of your own home, or at my home - where there are lots of green areas and a 1.5-mile path throughout the community - they will have a wonderful time. You will receive multiple daily updates and photos of your furry one. I require a meet-and-greet to discuss your and your pet's needs. Melissa was wonderful!! She was so communicative, sending lots of pictures and updates about our pups. She took them on lots of walks and spoiled them! When we picked them up, we forgot to grab their bag of medicine. We didn’t realize till she showed up at our door about 30 minutes later with them!!!! If you need someone to go above and beyond for your pup, definitely book Melissa. Can’t say enough kind things!
We were so happy to know our pup Milan was well taken care of! Melissa was terrific and we enjoyed all the daily pics and updates!!!
Melissa did a great job watching the pups, I felt very comfortable and the dogs got plenty of attention and exercise. She was on time and reliable. I especially liked the text messages and pictures with each visit to show me how they were and that everything was fine. I will definitely use her again.
Our pup Milan had a wonderful visit with Melissa! My husband and I felt very comfortable leaving Milan with her. We could tell that Melissa cared for Milan and Milan felt cared for too! Milan is looking forward to her next visit with Melissa!
Zoey our Labradoodle had the best time! She loved Melissa and Melissa updated us everyday with how she was doing along with cute pics.
It was great having Melissa take care of our dog Banx. Everything went very smoothly and I will definitely book with Melissa again- she is terrific!

Schedule
I understand the importance of consistency and routine, so first I learn about your pet's daily life. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, thus allowing me to adapt to your pet's schedule and maintain their routine throughout the time they are in my care.

I am in a 2nd floor condo. We have lots of green areas - our neighborhood has walking trails and is super dog friendly. Doggies can go on our couch/bed (if that's what he/she is used to! I won't start any bad habits ;) hehe), but it comes down to what your pup needs. I can certainly discuss what is best for your dog(s) and accommodate for any special needs.
A typical day
Our neighborhood has a mile-long path, including a loop around a lake. It's great to take pups on long walks around the neighborhood! Usually we do 2-3 long walks (20-30min each) per day, and I adapt depending on your pup's needs. Your pup will get lots of love and exercise!
