A True Animal Lover-Heartfelt Care!
Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, from our show dog who was an Irish Wolfhound to being a rescue mom to smaller terriers. I have cared for horses, chickens, bunnies which included pets with special handicaps. With deep empathy and natural connection, I understand animals on an intuitive level. I have trained puppies, comforted seniors and welcomed countless creatures who somehow find their way to my home. Your pet will find a home away from home here with me, safe, loving-and I look forward to offering the same love I show all animals to your beloved pet. All the animals in my home live in harmony together. Some visitors marvel at that fact but it's how I treat each animal with love and care that fosters this environment. All needs are met and everyone is happy!

Oliver now considers Melissa and family as part of his pack, so much so that he wanted to just hang at her house than come back home. Oliver always has a great time when he is at Melissa’s. We appreciate your kindness towards Oliver.
I cannot recommend Melissa and her family enough. From the moment we had a meet and greet with her, I knew Watson would be in amazing hands! After dropping him off, I was updated multiple times a day with pictures, videos, and updates of him living his absolute best life. There was also so much care taken to accommodate him since he had a recent injury that he’s just out of recovery for. They took care of him as if he was their own, even going for walks in the rain! I’m so grateful to have found people so truly caring and who love animals to take care of my little guy! He is currently sound asleep after an adventure filled few nights! I’ll absolutely be booking again in the future! Thank you all again for being incredible ☺️
Melissa and her family treated our golden doodle Lulu as one of their own. We received lots of pictures and videos with Lulu’s “Happy Face”! It’s wonderful to feel that Lulu is enjoying lots of love when we’re away.
Melissa and her entire family were great. Our highly energetic Australian Shepherd had a wonderful stay. Melissa sent us updates including pictures and videos. Bailey was walked and had play time with several other dogs. We had great confidence in leaving our dog with Melissa and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for care.

Schedule
I am home during the day and available to provide attentive care for your pet. I may step out briefly for errands or other chores but will ensure your pet's needs are fully met and they get plenty of company and care.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is on one acre with a fenced in yard and great area for walking with lots of trees in a peaceful setting. I have a senior dog (17 yo) that loves company. We also have cats which are friendly and curious.
Pets
A typical day
Our fenced in backyard is fun to explore, we have chickens too so dogs love to smell around and watch them. They are in a secure area. We also have wooded trails across the street so that is fun for a sensory experience. There are horses and cows on the farm nearby which is always exciting.
