Your pet's fill-in best friend!
My experience comes from owning my own pets (goats,chickens,ducks,dogs,cats,bunnies,guinea pigs,hamsters) and petsitting (yes, even even horses, pigs, snakes and bugs). In previous years, I fostered for countless animal rescue groups and shelters, whether it was just volunteering or fostering puppies or senior dogs in need. I currently own a pitbull/lab rescue, Cali, who I trust with few people. I completely understand the anxiety when it comes to trusting someone new to watch over your pup. This is why I prioritize communication, forming relationships with both pets and parents, sending frequent updates and paying close attention to details/routines provided to me. After each visit, you can always expect to find water bowls to be clean and full, leashes hung up and everything just as you left it except this time with a happy and tired pup! How I care for your pet depends entirely on the instructions you give me, I strive to follow your directions as closely as possible to ensure you, your pet and myself all have a great experience that is as similar as can be to your routine with them. With that being said, each pet I care for is treated as my own and will have my full attention when I am with them.

Melissa has been great with our large dogs. They’re always excited to see her and she doesn’t mind when they’re hyper, or when they’re being divas about dinnertime. She sends photos while we’re away which is not only fun, but makes us feel more comfortable seeing their puppy dog smiles! Melissa is a great comfort when we can’t be with them ourselves.
Cathy B Melissa is the most wonderful caregiver for all pets!! She loves my dog and treats her so well when we are away. I never have to worry because she is kind, loving and responsible. I highly recommend her to love, comfort and snuggle with you furry loved ones when you are away.
Melissa has cared for my two and a half year old rottie sever since she was a baby. I've used her for both drop in visits and overnights stays, and my favorite part is she sends such great pics and vids! Highly recommend. My dog is a hand full & she has a lot of experience with animals which made me feel so much more at peace aswell.

Schedule
I have a dog of my own, so pet care is already built into my routine and something I look forward to everyday. I'm also available for last minute needs and do my best to be as flexible as possible as I understand plans can change :)
