Your pet is set with me!
I have had pets of my own my entire life. I started caring for pets of others over 15 years ago. I’ve volunteered with the KC Pet Project as well as cared for over 40 dogs and cats in my own home as well as their own. My background is an Exercise Physiologist and group fitness instructor. I personally have two dogs, Minnie Bea (7), Ruby Mae 1 yr 9 mths, and one cat (Sunshine (9). My babies are cared for when I’m not home by their Nana. It would be my honor and pleasure to give your animals the love and care they require. Although I’m not an active runner, I’ve participated in five half-marathons and many 5Ks and 10Ks. I would not be opposed to exercise your dog as well.

Because I already have a house full of pets, I would not be able to take care of pets in my own home. But my pets are taken care of when I do have to stay away from home.

Melissa went above and beyond in housesitting for the little ones. She let them out within the requested timeframes and even got Zander some wipes for a sore paw. Highly recommend, thank you so much!
Great experience, and Melissa was amazing! Her communication before, during, and after was outstanding and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! When we got home our place was cleaned up and we could tell our pup had a great time and felt loved and taken care of! Will 100% be using Melissa again

Schedule
I work 10:30-7 Monday through Friday, some days remote or can use my lunch to let them out. I try to spend most of my time with them while their family is away.

- I do not have any special-needs dogs at the moment, but I have in the past. My previous dog had to be given injections and medication.
