Reliable and loving care
I have taken care of different sized dogs since I was a teen. I have experience in hand feeding and drinking for dogs who are ill. Taught dogs to walk on a leash, and basic commands and tricks with my own dogs. Experienced with Australian Shepherds, Australian Kelpies, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, and mixed breed small dogs. Dogs have different energy levels so you have to adapt care to their specific age and breed. I do not walk dogs in the heat of the day or if the pavement is to hot so your furry friend can stay healthy. I prefer to walk your companion early in the morning or in the evening.

I do not leave small dogs unattended when going out in a yard even if it is fenced. I do not walk dogs in the heat of the day in the or if the pavement is too hot to the touch. My dog is currently recovering from a illness and she is being hand fed and at times drinking from your hand. She is older so we walk at her pace. We take all of our dogs to obedience classes and work with them regularly so they are good dog citizens. Water is always left out and I encourage the dog to drink after walks. I follow the feeding instructions given by friends and family members for their pet's. Treats are given at training and when we leave to go somewhere. Myself and my husband are the people who pick up a lost dog if they allow us to and take them home or to shelter so they can be reunited with their families.

Melissa took great care of my two pups. My house was cleaned when we arrived home. She kept me updated and sent pictures. I will definitely use her again.
Melissa was my first dogsitter and I couldn’t be happier. She met with Charli a few times before we left until she gained her trust. She kept us updated with pictures of their walks and played with her downstairs. Our home was exactly as we left as Melissa was very tidy. When we arrived home, Charli was very happy but she kept running to Melissa in her excitement. I love that I can ask Melissa to watch Charli again without hesitation. You can tell she loves the time she spends with her. Thank you, Melissa!
Melissa was great. Truly very good with the 3 dogs. The older one had a few problems which Melissa informed us of and handled wonderfully. She sat for the dogs and then walked them the following weeks. Our dogs really took to her. We will definitely use her again!

I am currently retired and looking for ways to fill my time doing things that I love! I have a lot of time to spend with your fur baby!

- I would want to know about all of the traits of your fur baby. Do they like people, kid's, other dogs? Do they have a feeding and potty break schedule? Are they high energy or low? Do they have any allergies or dietary restrictions. Do they get sick on car rides? Medical conditions if any and are they taking medication?
