Loving care when you’re not there!
Caring for dogs has been my passion for the last 2 years. I have my own dog, but I am also the one family and friends call to care for their pets. I also work part time for a local animal rescue and volunteer with one other rescue. This has provided me experience with all kinds of dogs. I have fostered over 30 puppies in 2025. I love all breeds of dogs and will love them like their our own. I have basic dog first aid and CPR.

Melissa took wonderful care of our Toby.She is a total dog person and personalizes each dog's care to meet their needs.She kept us updated with photos and texts each day so we did not worry how he was doing.We were very happy with Toby's care.She went above and beyond what we expected and we will be booking with her again.
Melissa did such an amazing job taking care of my dog Albert! She is very knowledgeable about dogs, and made sure to introduce Albert to the other dogs slowly so he was comfortable and safe. He is a senior and has medications that he needs daily, and Melissa did a wonderful job ensuring he got his medication. She also was incredibly cautious about the heat over the weekend, and making sure he wasn’t outside for too long. I got many updates during Albert’s stay, and Melissa was very flexible when I needed to come pick Albert up a little bit earlier than planned. I would 100% recommend Melissa for any of your dog care needs :)
It was so wonderful having peace of mind for my lil babies!! Will definitely book with Melissa again!
Melissa had Rico for his first sleep over! He did great and we couldn't be more pleased! Rico has anxiety, but he eats his food and plays well when staying with Melissa, so we know he is comfortable in her care.
Melissa watched Rico on 6/13. Rico is shy and somewhat anxious. Melissa did a great job of making him feel comfortable outside before bringing him in to meet her other dogs. Melissa did a great job at providing me with up-to-date information. Rico had a great day at Melissas!

Programa
I currently work very part time and volunteer at a few organizations. When I am away from the home, it’s for very short periods of time. I can also adjust my schedule according to your dogs needs.

I have a large, fenced in yard. The yards surrounding ours are also fenced in. I have plenty of extra crates and supplies, if needed. I have dog seat belts, if your dog likes car rides. I do not require pets to be crate trained, but will offer them a space of their own to decompress and feel safe.

The first moments of the day will be spent in the big, fenced in backyard. After morning potty and stretches, our day will depend on what your pet needs. I have plenty of toys, balls, mental stimulation, enrichment and even art projects we can do together!
