I have been a pet care provider for over 20 years. I have owned pets my whole life, I have worked as a vet assistant and am pet CPR certified. I currently volunteer at a horse rescue one day a week. I am really active and love to engage your pet. This is a loving home environment that tries to keep your pets routine as close to what it is at home as possible. Lots of time for play and cuddles. I consider pets an extension of the family. Large fenced yard provides easy potty breaks. I am experienced caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. I can administer medications and have experience with potty training. I look forward to caring for your dog!

Melissa is amazing with my dog. He looks forward to her visits and starts to look for her when his walk time is near.
Working with Melissa is so easy. She is super dependable and our three dogs seem to have a great time with her. We look forward to her watching our home and poochies again.
We only needed Melissa for a few hours of pup sitting but she was great during that time and sent pics and updates!

Melissa was very responsive, friendly, flexible and professional. She gave us daily updates and pictures of our 2 cats and her animal experience was a definite help, since one cat, can be very aloof and grumpy. We highly recommend Melissa.

A typical day
Whatever your dog typically does at home is what I aim to do with your pet when they stay with me. If your dog is used to daily walks, we will go on walks. I love to throw the ball and play chase. I am happy to provide outings to dog parks if that is a part of their day.
