Hello! My name is Melissa and I knew that I had a passion for animals when they all made me so excited 😆 as a young child. I ran up to pet every dog and I wanted to rescue every abandoned or lost animal as I still do today. My first dog was a Chow Chow who was an amazing protector of our family while my father was away fighting at war. My second was Boots, my German cat who was vicious and lived to be 18 years old.😊🐱. Afterwards, I took a dog personality test and ended up with my first Boxer at 22. I’ve never looked back since then! I love ❤️ all dogs and cats and enjoy their unique personalities! I’ve had experience with aggressive animals, aged, and sick. I’m very well aware of several health issues and I also am trained to take care of dogs who have separation anxiety. THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING! —————————————————————- I have a fenced in backyard, I have gates installed that block the fur babies from gaining access to upstairs and the dining room area. I have eyes on them at all times! I prefer owners bringing kennels because I’m a firm believer in training and they love structure just like humans do.🐾😊

As a military family, we moved which means lots of changes for our family (including our two dogs). We knew we wanted to go on vacation in conjunction with our move but we wanted to make sure our fur babies had plenty of love and attention in an unfamiliar environment; therefore, we decided to use Rover. We knew our dogs would be loved in Melissa's care, but I feel like love is an understatement for how much she truly cared for our babies. Our two dogs stayed at Melissa's home for 16 days. I thought they'd be spoiled with pets and couch sleeping. I was not expecting Melissa to make a full itinerary for our babies. She took them on dog runs, many walks, lots of socializing at dog parks, multiple water days for them in her backyard and so many others things I can't think of off the top of my head! So much love and attention, I doubt they even missed us. I'm so happy to have provided Justice and Maverick their own vacation while we went on ours. SO WORTH IT! Melissa's updates and communication was continuous. I never had to ask any questions-- she covered all basics all the time. I have no doubt that I will use her again! My dogs are probably counting down the days til they return!
After having tried a few Rover sitters, I can confidently say Melissa is our favorite. She goes above and beyond, documenting all of the pees & poos, water breaks, and much more! I love all of the photos she takes whenever Lila is in her care. Melissa will forever be our Rover sitter. ?

Melissa is the best boarder i have come across since we had our dog. Nala was happy and was having so much fun. We felt she was in great hands and was at ease on vacation knowing she was being loved and taking care of. I will be looking into more services with Melissa. 5 star service ?

Schedule
I’m a full time pet sitter and mom of two beautiful teenage daughters so I dedicate my time to making my fur babies happy. I make sure that they are exercised and having fun by taking them to the dog park, bike rides, and walks! We even have a puppuccino from Starbucks every now and then!🐾❤️
