Caring for animals is my passion. I have been a pet sitter for the last 7 years and have loved very bit of it. I am currently pursuing a an Associates degree in Veterinary Nursing from Harcum College to pursue my dream of being a Certified Veterinary Nurse. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats and plants. I’m very trustworthy and will care for your pets and home as if it were my own! I love being able to meet so many different pet personalities, even though the end result is my camera roll being filled with their sweet faces and goofy moments.

Melissa and Rigger were an absolute pleasure. We met the for the first time at their house and everything went well! My Petey and Rigger got along well from the start and Melissa was very welcoming. She was flexible with timing, and with drop-off and pick-up. This was the first time we used her, and we will not be hesitant to use her again!
Melissa is the best dog sitter we have ever had! She is so loving towards our two dogs. Melissa goes the extra mile to make our dogs feel comfortable and takes such great care of our home while we are away! We have recommended her to so many of our friends! She truly is such an honest and caring person, and we cannot imagine leaving our dogs with anyone else!
Melissa B is a dog whisperer. She provides such love and care for our yellow lab and she evens tends to our chickens when we need her to! Our dog barks with excitement every time she comes. We never have any worry when she takes care of her.
We LOVE Melissa! She is a caring and conscientious young woman who has taken care of both our dog and our home on multiple occasions. Our dog Trixie, is always happy to see Melissa, and we are happy knowing that she will be well cared for and loved!

The best way I can care for your pets is to best replicate how you care for your pets. I have a pet of my own so I always put myself in your shoes as the one who is leaving their furbaby behind in the care of a stranger. I try to minimize the stress of pets and their owners as much as possible. I also believe greatly in enrichment and exercise for pets and will do my best to tend to their needs.

I usually request written/printed details regarding the care of your pets and home. Instructions regarding feeding time, commands, medication , house details and literally anything you can think of really helps me take the best care of your pet and home!
A typical day
I understand how important daily stimulation is for animals. Whether it is playtime, walks or belly scratches it is my priority to make sure your animal is receiving what ever it is they need to live a happy and healthy life while they are in my care.

Availability
From September through early May I will be in school. I have 5 total classes that are spread out Monday through Thursday. I also work at a pet hospital part time. The most I will be out of the house during the day is 8 hours so owners and pets who are comfortable with that will work best. I have summer off from school but will continue to work part time at my current place of employment.
