Hello! My name is Melissa and I am an animal lover who is ready to provide you with excellent pet care service. I've had pets all my life and am experienced in taking care of all types of animals. I've owned dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, hermit crabs, reptiles and amphibians. I have 2 years of volunteer experience with the Animal Welfare Leage of Arlington, and also spent one summer volunteering with the Lost Dog and Cat foundation. Through these organizations, I have worked with several different types of dogs, including large, small, young, elderly, high energy, shy, fearful etc. I understand that some dogs must be handled with extra patience and care, and I am ready to give your dog the best experience that fits their unique needs. I am available to help take care of your cats as well! Having owned 2 cats in my lifetime (including one currently), I know that their needs can differ wildly based on personality type. Whether they prefer pets, cuddles, playtime, or to be fed and left alone, I'm here to make sure your cat is is happy and healthy while you are away! Lastly, I have experience with caring for exotic pets, such as reptiles and amphibians. I understand that these animals often require daily tasks, and I am available to give them quality care while you are away. This includes feedings (i.e. cricket feedings, meal worms, or other food), day/night lamp management, water spraying, and anything else they require. I can also attend to small mammal pets as well, such as guinea pigs and rabbits. Whatever your animal's needs are, I look forward to providing the care they deserve!
