Hi I’m Melissa an avid dog lover! I’m available for day care, dog sitting, walking and boarding for small - medium/small dogs. I live in an apartment which is quite spacious and cosy, but as much as I love big dogs I’m not sure they’d be able to spread their wings as much as they’d like to in here. I live alone, and don’t have any kids or other pets so your pooch will get 24/7 care, lots of love and one on one attention whilst in my care. My apartment does have a fenced off garden which is around 25m long so plenty of space, and there are also plenty of parks and outdoor spaces nearby for walks. In terms of experience I started off walking local dogs thanks to the ‘borrow my doggy’ site and now have had the pleasure of boarding and day sitting some amazing doggies thanks to Rover. I don’t currently have my own transportation but you can drop and collect your pooch from my apartment at times that suit you or I may be able catch a cab to you if that’s not possible. I am a reiki healer so your pooch will receive lots of love and plenty of good vibes! Thanks for reading. Hopefully hear from you soon! Melissa did a wonderful job with our dog - she treated her as if she was a family and obviously really enjoyed having her as well which made us feel really reassured. Would definitely love it if Melissa could look after her again!
What a wonderful first experience of using Rover. Melissa was absolutely lovely. She kept me informed with pictures and messages throughout the day and worked well with my dog who has separation anxiety when away from me. Would highly recommend. Lovely lady.
Melissa was amazing, this is the first time I’ve left my baby with anyone else overnight so I was initially quite anxious but as soon as I met Melissa I felt comfortable. She sent me photos of how bears day had gone and kept me updated. He is full of energy so she definitely had her hands full with him but did a great job! Would recommend and use again for sure, thank you! x

Schedule
I’m currently self employed and work primarily from home so I am very flexible in terms of schedules. As long as I’m given notice I will do my best to schedule you in at your convenience.

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is very secure. I’m on 3rd floor. We have a buzzer system so nobody can enter the building without being let in. I am open to dogs sleeping on my bed or in their preferred baskets/beds if they have one. I can walk up to 3 times per day. There’s a large park which is around 1.5 mile walk which takes around 1 and a half hours to complete and a smaller park which is around half a mile and takes around 30-45 mins. This can of course be adjusted to your pooches preference as I know with some smaller dogs their tiny legs only require a short stretch sometimes. There’s also a garden at my apartment. There’s also a lot of greens and grassy walkways so depending on your needs I can walk to fit in with your schedule.
A typical day
I have a beautiful park nearby which I love to visit. It’s very spacious and peaceful. Being very playful myself I have lots of energy to give to more energetic dogs. I’m also a reiki healer so I will help your pooch to relax after our walks, in the evening and at night time during overnight stays.
