Hi! I’m Melissa, a lifelong animal lover and very devoted pet mom. I have two dogs of my own, Kermit, a goofy, lovable pug/Frenchie mix, and Jinx, a tiny Chihuahua/Brussels Griffon mix, plus our cat, Remi. My animals are genuinely a huge part of my life, so I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person you’re trusting with yours. I’m offering doggy daycare in my home as well as drop-in visits for dogs and cats. I’m especially comfortable with small dogs, quirky personalities, shy or sensitive pups, and animals who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m very affectionate and attentive, but I also follow your pet’s routine and boundaries rather than assuming every animal wants the same thing. For daycare, your dog will be hanging out in a real home with me and my pets. I’m happy to send photos and updates because I know I always want them when someone else is caring for mine! For drop-ins, I can handle meals, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, litter boxes, medication if needed and, obviously, lots of attention and cuddles. I am located in Silverlake and have a car and very flexible schedule! Happy to check in as many times as you'd like throughout the day.

In my home, pets are treated like part of the family! I have a fully fenced yard, so dogs have a secure outdoor space for potty breaks, fresh air, sniffing around, and playtime throughout the day. Inside, they’re welcome to relax and hang out with us just like my own pets do. I have two friendly dogs and a cat, and I’m always careful with introductions and make sure every pet has the space and attention they need to feel safe and comfortable. For drop-in visits, I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and anything else your pet needs. I’m happy to send lots of photos and updates too—I know how reassuring that is when you’re away!

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine! I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so my days naturally revolve around walks, meals, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, and making sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be home often, so adding another pet into our routine feels very natural.
