A typical day
If all circumstances allow, I love taking dogs out to walk in the neighborhood to allow exercise and mental stimulation. It's important to let dogs sniff all the things (if safe of course) on our walks to allow mental enrichment as well so your dog will never feel as if we are rushed as all my focus is on the dog and their needs!

Pet care experience
Ever since I was a kid, I knew animals were my passion. I am currently a Vet/Doctors Assistant at an animal hospital and have a huge passion for all animals, big and small. I have experience with reactive dogs as I currently own one as well as other behavioral issues I might come across. I spent a long time working at the Oregon Humane Society, working with dogs with behavioral challenge and I understand how they truly feel and will make sure your baby feels safe! As a vet technician for four years, I worked at VCA Animal hospitals and gained lots of experience and in veterinary medicine that helps equip me to care for your fur babies! I am currently in school at WSU and can do overnight dog sitting in your home or mine :) keep in mind I do have one kitten that lives with me !

Melisa was fantastic at giving us updates on our dogs while we were away, who are very anxious pups. She went above and beyond when our dogs got sick while we were away, and she even vacuumed up their loose sheding fur for us! We will definitely hire her again!
I have a 7 year old doodle, Maggie, she loves to go on walks and the dog park. Melisa is puntual and very responsible. Maggie is very energetic and needs lots of attention.
