Fur or scales, I love all pets
I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle.

Safety, trust & environment
As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.

Melinda is a great petsitter! Full disclosure - Melinda is our neighbor. We have hired her to watch our dog in her home. Our dog LOVES going to Melinda's house. Anytime we have left him her care, we have come home to a happy pup. Melinda is also an extremely responsible human being, and she is great with communication.
Melinda is an experienced pet owner and works great with any pet. I trust her with my dog as someone who is pre-vet and has worked in the vet med field for a few years now. She is great at following directions and providing a temporary safe and loving home for any pet. Trust me they will be spoiled by her.

Schedule
I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed.
