I will care for your pet as if they were my own, giving them love, exercise, pets and belly rubs. I have had dogs from the puppy stage through the senior stage and understand the care each needs.

This was my first time leaving Duke with someone and I was really worried he would not do well. We had gone on a meet and greet 2 days before and Duke got along well with Melinda and her 2 dogs but I was still apprehensive. When it came time to drop him off he jumped right out of the car and ran up to Melinda and her husband without hesitation and went right in the house ! Melinda kept me informed with pictures of Duke having a great time and I have to say Duke misses his new friends. I would highly recommend Melinda anytime and will definitely take more trips now that I know he will be well cared for and loved. Dr Dan
Melinda was amazing, I’m a total helicopter dog mom and Melinda was not only great with my sweet girl Frankie but she was also so good about putting my mind at ease with photo updates of how Frankie was doing!! I’m new in town and I’m so happy we found Melinda and her happy dog family!!

Schedule
I am currently a stay at home dog mom, so your pet will be closely monitored throughout the day and given the attention they need. I'll make sure your dog is taken outside on a regular schedule for potty and play time.

Safety, trust & environment
A Meet and Greet is required prior to all stays to make sure our dogs get along and to discuss you and your pets needs and behaviors. For the safety of both pets, If there is any aggression shown, the stay will not be approved. All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations/Bordatella and be FLEA AND TICK FREE. No Pitbull or Pit mix accepted. For the safety of your pet and our Kona, I only take one pet at a time. Our Kona would love to welcome your dog into her big, fenced backyard for play and fun. Plenty of water is always provided for those thirsty moments. Inside, we have comfy beds for that down time. I can administer meds as needed. I will follow your feeding and care routine as best as possible. Feeding will be done separate if necessary. I will send pictures and updates daily. You can contact me anytime for updates too.
Pets
A typical day
I will provide your dog with lots of playtime. All outdoor time is monitored and Our Kona loves to zoom around the backyard and will share her toys. I will be sure and give your pet individual play and pets too. We live in a great, quiet neighborhood that is great for walks.
