I understand that pets are part of the family, and my goal is to help them feel comfortable and at ease while staying in my home. I’ve cared for dogs since I was a child, including my own furry best friend. I truly enjoy walks, playtime, feeding, and giving lots of love. My priority is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work with the support of my sister Melissa, who helps me with daily care such as walks, playtime, feeding, and supervision. Your pet is always cared for with attention and love. Please note: One night of boarding covers 24 hours. Additional time may incur an extra fee. I accept only fully potty-trained dogs; however, small puppies are welcome—just let me know if they’re still learning. I love spending time with pets and make sure they receive plenty of attention throughout the day. Walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship are naturally part of my daily and weekly routine. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. Dogs are always supervised, given lots of affection, and cared for according to the owner’s instructions. Pets can also enjoy my secure, fully fenced backyard, where they can safely play and explore. Arrival times: Earlier drop-offs are always appreciated, as they help dogs settle in more comfortably. Late-night arrivals can sometimes be stressful for pets and make it harder for them to relax on their first night.

Melinda and her family are the best! They really went above and beyond taking care of my dogs. She sent regular updates and photos, and even included some new toys in their bag to take home. Her house and yard were spotless. I highly recommend her and will be using her again for my next trip.
This was our second time booking with Melinda, and once again she exceeded our expectations. She is incredibly reliable, caring, and responsive. When she learned that our baby has separation anxiety and refused to eat, she went above and beyond to help him feel safe and comfortable. Instead of forcing him to adjust, she focused on building trust first. She even let him stay in her bedroom so he would feel more secure. Thanks to her patience and genuine care, he started eating the very next day. She took him on daily walks, carefully followed all of our instructions, and kept us updated with regular reports and photos, which allowed us to travel without any worries. Caring for a dog with separation anxiety is not an easy job, but Melinda handled it with so much love, patience, and professionalism. The best part was when we picked up our baby—he actually wanted to go back into Melinda’s house! That was the clearest sign of how happy, safe, and loved he felt during his stay. We are so grateful for everything Melinda did, and we will definitely book with her again. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional dog sitter!
I was really really nervous to leave my dog Ty for an overnight stay. He hurt his back legs a couple of days before our trip to Dallas and was not able to jump on/off beds and couch’s. I was reassured with pictures that Melinda and her family were helping Ty on and off the furniture! She sent pictures of him being comforted throughout his stay. I really appreciate how much care they put into Ty staying with them.

Melinda is an amazing dog sitter! She kept me updated throughout my dog’s stay and was incredibly patient and caring. My dog struggles with separation anxiety, and she went above and beyond by trying to spoon-feed him when he wasn’t eating and providing a cozy blanket to help him feel safe and comfortable. When I arrived to pick him up, I was surprised that he didn’t even want to leave with his mama because he had grown so attached to Melinda and her family! That gave me so much peace of mind knowing how loved and well cared for he was. I would absolutely book with Melinda again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter.

A typical day
A typical day with the dogs is focused on fun and well-being. In the morning, we start with an energetic walk, followed by a nutritious breakfast. In the afternoon, the fun continues with games of fetch in the backyard, scavenger hunts for treats, or just some time to relax and take a nap. At night, after a quiet dinner, we cuddle on the couch for some affection and pets, followed by a final short walk before bedtime. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and right at home.
