Hi there! I'm a Registered Nurse, now working from home, which means I'm always available to give your fur babies the attentive care they deserve. Alongside my wonderful 19-year-old daughter, McKenna, we offer a truly unique and loving pet-sitting experience. Our lives have been dedicated to animals, and we're excited to share that passion with your beloved companions! Meet Your Caretakers: Mom (The RN): Growing up on a 100-acre horse farm instilled in me a deep love and understanding of all creatures – from horses and llamas to chickens and, of course, dogs and cats! My years in critical care nursing translate directly to meticulous attention to detail and a calm, capable approach to any situation. Plus, extensive volunteering with dog rescues and equestrian programs means I'm well-versed in diverse animal needs. McKenna (The Animal Whisperer): McKenna has literally grown up surrounded by animals, dedicating her childhood and teen years to caring for them and volunteering with major pet rescue organizations. She's even famous at the rescue for her fund-raising dog cookies! Her gentle nature and boundless energy make her a favorite among pets. What Makes Our Home a Pet Paradise? Our Gainesville, GA home, nestled in a safe and tranquil lake community, is a true haven for pets: Spacious & Cozy: Over 4000 sq ft of comfortable indoor space means plenty of room for your pups to stretch out, play, and cuddle up on any furniture they desire – no restrictions here! Backyard Oasis: A fantastic inground pool that's fully fenced and surrounded by cool decking – perfect for a refreshing splash without hot paws! We even have special cool pads for lounging. A second fully fenced backyard garden offering endless opportunities for sniffing, exploring, and doggie adventures. Expert Care for All Needs: With my nursing background, we are highly proficient in medication administration and have extensive experience caring for special needs pets. We're also ready to provide daily walks and plenty of exercise for your most energetic companions. Together, we provide round-the-clock attention, safety, and endless love. We promise a fun, reliable, and wholesome environment for your fur babies. We can't wait to meet them! We currently only watch dogs in our home (sorry Cat friends..McKenna is allergic). We require meet and greet prior to booking to ensure the safety of your pets and our fur baby.

Melinda and McKenna were God-sends! We have a senior dog and we hate to leave her even for a day. Numerous photos and such a warm home was so assuring during our week away. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Melinda and McKenna were such a great fit for Oaklee. They were loving and made him feel right at home. He got to play, take walks, and lots of snuggle time. They were so much better than boarding at a kennel.
Melinda and McKenna were so sweet!! Their dog Eli is adorable too! They made me feel like the truly enjoyed having my pups. Their pictures and updates were the highlight of my day!
I would absolutely give Melinda & McKenna 10 out of 5 if I could! Melinda was so responsive setting up a meet and greet with the introduction to her home. I immediately felt such great connection! Gracie Mae was welcomed for a long weekend stay. Sweet Eli was so welcoming and such a great companion. From the pictures you would have thought they were kindred spirits. The communication, updates, pictures throughout the weekend certainly put my curiosity to ease immediately just after the first day ! The love of their home to your furry baby is above and beyond! I’m looking forward to the next getaway and I know Gracie will be looking forward to her next stay! This is truly a spa retreat filled with so much love! Pets adore Melinda and they naturally gravitate to her. She’s been taking care of my dogs (both puppies and seniors) for the last five years as I traveled for work or took a semi annual cruise with my family. She is trustworthy and reliable. Schedule
I work from home full time and McKenna attends college locally. Your pups would never be left unattended as we work as a team to ensure round the clock care and love. We have a 3 year old Whippet/Hound rescue pup (Eli) who absolutely loves welcoming new friends! We go for daily walks in the neighborhood and on nice days we love to play outside and watch birds next to the pool.

Safety, trust & environment
We have 2 separate fenced yards for your pups to fully explore and enjoy. If you have a swim pooch..we allow full access to enjoy the pool when we are with them to supervise for safety. We also have pup life jackets and toys. The area is further equipped with large shade umbrellas, fresh water and cool mats for pups. We do not leave pups outside for long periods or unsupervised. Our home also has a fully equipped dog spa for baths and rinse offs! We are proud to offer a 5 star resort for your babies and you can expect daily photos of your pup living his/her best life and cute snooter pics!

A typical day
We love to keep your dogs active and happy with rest times throughout the day. We will absolutely try to keep your pups on their usual schedule. For active pups we love taking long walks through the neighborhood, play ball in the yard and swim.
