Dog training and boarding is my full time job. I have a flexible schedule where I work from home offering dog training classes, boarding and training.

I have a fenced back yard, as well as a fully fenced 100x110 fenced agility and training field as well as access to farm fields and trails. We have a doggie play room with crates and raised beds for naps and or privacy as needed. All dogs are encouraged to make themselves at home with my pack of well trained Aussies. All dogs are with me at all times, and have the option to attend my training classes which are held on my property.

Love all breeds. We require proof of vaccines & deworming; would like to know dog's personality, is he/she timid, shy, outgoing or agressive w/other dogs? where does your dog like to sleep? is he/she a good eater or need a special diet? All males must be neutered.

I have been a dog & horse trainer/owner for over 25 years; breeding, training & competing Australian Shepherds for 15 years. I have owned, trained & cared for multiple breeds from little dogs to large breeds. Family First - Your dog will be welcomed as part of our family, this includes lots of love, attention, free play and group play time with our Aussies in our fenced area and walking/hiking on trails and through our farm fields if desired. Obedience, Agility & Trick Training packages also available. We welcome dogs to make themselves at home in the house & also have a special doggie play room w/crates, raised beds, lots of toys & treats for private nap time as desired. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to be sure all dogs get the attention they need.

Melinda is a wonderful person and a wonderful trainer. I would recommend her as a dog sitter to anyone. She has raised several beautiful and beautifully behaved dogs. She is as close as I have come to a dog whisperer. LOL. Seriously though, Melinda will take wonderful care of your pet and your pet will have plenty of friends to play with :)
Mel is amazing with all dogs in her care! She makes sure each one gets plenty of TLC. She is extensively educated and experienced with training dogs of many different temperaments and personalities. I have a 2 year old from the first litter Mel bred and he already had the majority of his basic training down by 10 weeks old, thanks to Mel! She makes that extra effort to assure each owner is happy with their puppy and is always there for any questions or assistance. Your dog, no matter the age or breed, will be in the best of care with Mel.
I would strongly reccomend Melinda to anyone in search of a responsible and caring caregiver for their dogs. She's very knowledgeable and pays attention to details. Boarding my dogs with her is great, since I know they will be taken care as well as if they were home with me. That peace of mind makes all the difference! BM
Melinda is a real pro when it comes to dogs. We have a pup from her first Bennie x Bodhi litter who is now almost 2 years old. Melinda helped us get started on obedience, and introduced us to the local agility community here in Columbia County. Henry now is known everywhere in our community and has become a real gentleman; he is also an agility addict. I would have absolutely no reservations in using any canine service that Melinda is responsible for. She is prompt, responsive, and pays attention to details, which in the end makes for happy dogs and happy dog owners.
