Hello! I am a dog lover who has lots of free time to help my neighbors care for their fur babies. My husband is recently retired and has lots of time to help, too. We have been a dog owners for the last 25 years and currently own a friendly 8 year old red Lab. I’d be honored to board your dog in my home. We recently lost our senior dog so our lab would be thrilled to have a playmate. Your dog(s) will get plenty of love, attention and exercise while with us. Or, if they prefer to lay on the couch and just get cuddles that works, too! Also, I am happy to stop by for drop in visits to your home to play with and feed your dogs. I am very responsible, trustworthy and caring. I have been happily married for 31 years and have 2 beautiful grown children. We have been in Scottsdale for 7 years after moving from Chicago. Melinda was so great with our pup Silas. She gave us detailed updates during our weekend away and we could tell from all the pictures that he was having lots of fun. She was also incredibly accommodating, being open to us dropping off our dog's crate early, and adjusting our pick-up time due to flight delays. She and her husband (and Cooper the dog) are very kind and friendly, and I would recommend them to anyone.
Melinda was absolutely amazing! She took the best care of our pup, sending updates and pictures daily. She took him on long walks and he made a best friend with Melinda’s adorable dog. We can’t wait to have Melinda watch banks again, he had the best time! Thank you Melinda!
We can't say enough good things about Melinda. She treated our dogs like her own and from the moment we dropped them off, we knew they were in great hands. Our dogs came back happy and relaxed. We will definitely be using Melinda again and recommend her highly!
Melinda was so accommodating and went above and beyond for my dog. She was wonderful about keeping me informed and taking great care of my senior dog.
Melinda watched my baby Basset Hound puppy named Bruno overnight. Bruno fell in love with the family and did not want to leave. Being a puppy everything is new, and Melinda was patient and accommodating with little Bruno.
Remy had a great time at Melinda’s! Sent many pictures and he was very happy and calm when I picked him up. He felt comfortable. 😊

Schedule
I am currently working very part-time (12 hours a week) so I have plenty of time to spoil your dogs with lots of love and attention. My husband is newly retired and has plenty of time to help so there will always be someone at home.

I have a fenced back yard with a pool. My two dogs - a lab and a beagle/English setter mix are friendly and get along with other dogs.

I would take dogs on walks in their local neighborhood if it is safe to do so. I’m also happy to play with your dog in your yard or home if that works best for the dog.
