A typical day
When I take dogs on walks, I stay within the neighborhood. I do not typically go to the neighborhood dog park unless you want me to. If I do, I will not take your pets off the leash. If we have time for play, I like to use their toys and play fetch or just simply run around with them and give them lots of pets!

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Melinda and I love animals! I have been around dogs and cats all of my life. I have cats and love to spend time with other people’s dogs! I grew up with dogs and cats. My parents took in many strays and at one point we had 10 different breeds! I have been walking dogs and doing drop in visits since early 2021 and have experience with small to large breeds. I am available for walks and drop ins. I have experience administering medications and with different types of harnesses and leashes.

We are very pleased with Melinda. Our previous cat sitter retired and we were nervous. Our cat is very timid and won't eat when stressed. We told Melinda she may never see her. On the first visit, Melinda not only saw her but was able to pet her! We were so happy to see that photo and all the others throughout our vacation. And all the food had been eaten!
Melinda was wonderful and we recommend her to anyone considering her services. She was prompt for our meet-and-greet and brought a notebook to write down answers to her questions. While she watched our furry friends she sent daily pictures was communicative. We arrived home to a tidy house and happy pets! We will absolutely rebook with Melinda.
I highly recommend Melinda! She was wonderful with my dog Toby, who is apprehensive of strangers. She knew how to interact with him and gained his trust. I look forward to using her services again!
Melinda was fantastic! She took excellent care of our two cats for an entire week, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. She sent very detailed updates with lots of pictures. We would absolutely book her again.
