I’ve owned and cared for many pets. Currently I have a golden/lab 12 year old female, a 5 year old male cat, and a 1 year old Catahoula. They get along well with other animals. I currently work Mon-Fri but I can board animals during that time who are used to that type of schedule. I also have some weekdays off for holidays and will be home those days. Please feel free to ask if you are unsure of my dates off and your dates requested. On work days, Dogs would be fed and let out before work as well as let out as soon as I got home and fed again if on a twice fed schedule. If need be I can come home for lunch to let them out and feed them for a lunch meal if that’s their schedule. Weekends are open for anything since I’m home all day. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to use the bathroom and play. I can let them out as much as they need depending on age. My dog goes out frequently and I go out with them to ensure no one tries to escape the fence.

Melinda was truly amazing! We tragically lost our Corgi puppy not even a year ago so leaving our other Corgi pup with a stranger was very difficult for us especially with how over protective we are with Claire. Melinda did a meet and greet with us which went really well and I think made a huge difference for when we dropped Claire off for her stay. The day we left Claire ran right in and made herself at home. Melinda sent tons of pictures (which I absolutely loved) that really helped us to feel comfortable that Claire was ok. I am so happy with the care my baby got and all the fun she had with Melinda’s kids and pets. I will definitely be reaching out again whenever we need Claire to be cared for ☺️.

Melinda was excellent in her care for our Puggle Jack. She sent me photos often to let us know how well he was doing. I would recommend her for your pet sitting.

Schedule
I currently work full time M-F but work close to home and can come home on lunch to let dogs out for a bathroom break if they are not used to being home for a typical work schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is fenced in and dogs are monitored while outside. While I am not at home my dog is crated to prevent any misunderstandings while I am away. If your pet is normally crated I can also crate your dog as well.

We can play with various toys. Also take walks to explore the neighborhood for interesting smells and places to mark. Maybe make some new friends!
