Pet care experience
Vet assistant safe dog & cat sitter
My life has always been centered around animals. Growing up I had dogs, cats, and even started riding horses at 8 years old. As I got older I realized there’s nothing better than giving back to the animals that do so much for us. I now work at a trusted animal hospital as a veterinary assistant and I’m in school to become a veterinary technician. I have experience with many different animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and comfort are priorities for me. For pets it can be scary when their owners are away so I always take the necessary steps to ease their minds. I will treat your pets exactly how I would want mine to be treated.
Ratings and reviews
I cannot recommend Melina enough. Leaving an older dog is always stressful. Leaving a 10-year-old golden retriever with complex health issues usually feels impossible. Melina completely changed that for me. From our very first meeting, she treated Gracie with immense tenderness and respect. She meticulously managed Gracie’s strict medication schedule, monitored her energy levels, and ensured she stayed comfortable and happy. Melina did not just watch Gracie; she truly cared for her. She sent frequent updates and photos that allowed me to travel with total peace of mind.I am incredibly grateful for her patience, competence, and genuine love for animals. Melina is a rare find, and Gracie and I are so lucky to have her.
I have left my cats and dogs in Melina’s care numerous times! I had one dog with special needs and was very kind and compassionate, and so loving towards each one of my animals to use every time I go away! She has a special relationship with each one of my animals! Melina excellent and keeping track of all of my dogs medications and being sure they weren’t given on time. And I loved getting the pictures when she was for my fur babies.!

Schedule
As a veterinary assistant I have a schedule that changes by week, but I typically have weekends and one or two weekdays off. In order to prioritize time with your fur baby I only set my availability to my days off, or walks after I get out of work.
