Welcome to my profile! I am an active, nature-loving pet sitter, specializing in cat care, small dogs, and caged animals. I have owned a combination of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and birds in my lifetime, each with varying behavioural and medical needs. I have been fostering cats with the Kingston Humane Society since 2021, which has allowed me to gain experience in oral medication administration, as well as understanding that each pet is different in their personality traits, needs, and communication styles. I pride myself on my dedication to providing the best care possible. I take the time to get to know your pet on a personal level, tailoring my approach to meet their individual needs. Whether it's a rambunctious kitten or a shy senior cat, I adapt to their unique personalities!

We have been working with Melina for over a year now with 9 variable length drop-in visits from one night to 2.5 weeks. She is fantastic and our four cats love her. Even our most timid warms up to her kindness. We have being planning our trips around Melina’s schedule, because we can’t imagine having anyone else watch our kitties now!
Melina is reliable, consistent and a fantastic sitter to our 4 cats when we are away. On this visit, she was persistent with our automated cat feeder that had a jam while we were away. She always puts our minds at ease knowing that she’s checking on our cats.
Melina is simply awesome. She is so kind and attentive with our cat, Hermann. They have really gotten to know one another and Hermann has taken a real shine to Melina. We always feel comfortable going away knowing our precious boy is in good hands and he is always happy and content when we get home. Highly recommend Melina!
Melina is absolutely the best! She takes great photos and sends informative updates. One of our cats was not feeling well while we were away so we gave Melina some suggestions and Sophie really bonded with her and was feeling much better after a few days. Lucy bonded with her immediately and loved all the attention. I highly recommend Melina!
Melina to the rescue once again! We are so appreciative that Melina is able to visit our fur babies while we’re away - she gives them all the attention and makes sure they’re well loved until our return. Highly recommend!
Melina has been consistently amazing with our four cats when we are away. This visit, she became best friends with our least social kitty and even got her playing and rolling around. Melina is the best cat sitter and I cannot thank her enough for what she does and the effort she puts in to keep our kitties happy and comfortable while we’re away.
