I would love for an opportunity to meet with and learn from you and your furbabies on how to care for them! :) Prior to Rover, I've had experience with pet sitting occasionally for family and friends (mostly with small- and medium-sized dogs and a cousin's cat) and I used to own a betta fish for a couple of years; but since joining Rover, I have done drop-in visits and house-sitting for cats and dogs. I have also been researching and studying dog and cat caretaking from the EPL and other online resources as well.

For caretaking in the client’s home, I will ensure to follow instructions thoroughly. I will also ensure to put in extra effort to research caretaking for any characteristics/conditions that you describe your pet as having.

Melicia housesat for us for 2 weeks and took great care of our 2 poms. They both loved her, all instructions were followed, and the house was in perfect condition upon our return. She messaged us with a couple updates and reached out if there was anything concerning or had a question. We will definitely consider using Melicia again in the future!

Melicia is a compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy woman who takes excellent care of my dog, Jax! Jax is my whole world, so the fact that I trust her with him says a lot. She walks him, lets him out multiple times to make sure he goes to the bathroom, and plays with him until he’s tired out. She is responsible, caring, and truly great with dogs. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am currently flexible with schedules as I am taking online classes. I mainly use public transit and recently, a bike to travel but if needed, I can figure out a direct mode of transportation.
