Hi, I’m Meliana — a lifelong animal lover and the human behind Mi Casa Es Paw Casa, where every dog gets the VIP treatment. I lost my beloved Bali rescue dog to cancer in 2020, and since then, I’ve devoted my time to fostering, dog-sitting, and creating a loving home for dogs in need of care. I work from home as a writer, which means your pup will enjoy lots of one-on-one time, cuddles, and my undivided attention — all day, every day. What sets me apart: • 12+ years of hands-on experience • Senior care expertise: I cared for my dog through nine months of chemotherapy and know how to administer pills, liquids, and injections with ease (and sneaky tricks!) • Nutrition-savvy: I’ve cooked balanced meals for dogs and understand their dietary needs • Behaviour-friendly: I’ve trained with dog professionals and am confident managing pups with unique personalities or quirks Whether your dog loves napping at my feet or hiking in the hills, I tailor their stay to suit their energy level and comfort zone. I live in the charming village of Alaquàs, and we treat every dog like family. My motto: “A tired dog is a happy dog.” P.S. I’m also an amateur photographer, so expect plenty of photo and video updates of your happy pup while you’re away!

Meliana es muuuuuy buena persona. Me ha trasmitido una tranquilidad y una confianza infinita. He sentido que Noventa se quedaba con un familiar. Y asi lo he notado en la gran cantidad de fotos y videos que me ha enviado. Meliana ha cuidado de nuestro Capitán como si fuese de la familia. Dejar a alguien que no conoces a tu hermano perruno puede ser muy difícil, pero con ella lo tuvimos claro en cuanto nos pusimos en contacto. Derrocha seguridad, cercanía y confianza. Fuimos a conocerla antes de dejarle, y nos atendieron muy bien ella y su marido, tranquilizándonos y preocupándose de todo lo que necesita Capitán para estar bien atendido. Nos mandaba muchas fotos y vídeos siempre que podía. Estábamos muy tranquilos con ella, aunque no tanto con las travesuras que pudiera hacerle Capitán 😬🤣. ¡Muchas gracias, Meliana! Eres un sol.
Aunque hemos tenido momentos de tensión por los problemas que ha tenido Mac para no hacerse pipí en casa, a causa de una infección de orina, Meliana ha cuidado de él y de Tello súper bien. Los han llevado a jugar y relacionado con un montón de perros y personas, y les han hecho unas fotos chulísimas. Espero poder contar con ella para futuras ocasiones, con los problemas de orina resueltos 😊
Looked after our dog Pickle fantastically when we were in Valencia seeing friends. Frequent updates and pickle came home happy and tired!
Roxie was well cared for by Meliana. We received regular updates, photos and videos. We could see that Roxie adored Meliana also. I totally recommend Meliana, she really cares for dogs, was responsive to our messages and we are really grateful for her attentive and professional approach.

Schedule
I work from home as a writer and have no pets (nor kids) of my own, which means your dog gets all the love and attention. If your pup has separation anxiety, this is the perfect place. I’m here for snuggles, reassurance, and companionship all day long. I’m also extremely flexible with my time and happy to adapt to your dog’s routine.

I live in a clean, spacious apartment just steps from a beautiful, dog-friendly park in the village of Alaquàs, about 15–20 minutes from Valencia. Your dog will have their own bed and space, and their comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I follow your preferences closely, whether it’s for feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, or medication.
A typical day
Our days are shaped around your pup’s needs. We start with a relaxed morning walk, followed by cuddle time or play depending on their vibe. I take the dogs out at least 3–4 times a day, often to the nearby park for sniffing, socialising, and stretching those legs. Weekends? If your dog enjoys the outdoors, we may head to the mountains for a hike, the beach for a stroll, or head out to pretty villages for a dog-friendly day-trip. I love giving them a change of scenery and safe adventures when possible. I also have experience with light dog training and can work on basic commands during their stay if you’d like.
