Hi! My name is Melia, a lifelong animal lover and mother to 3 pets who has that unspoken bond with every animal I encounter. I have a Bachelor's degree in UX Research & Design and work in tech. In my free time, you'll find me training my puppy, taking my dogs to the beach, trying a new recipe, or starting a new craft. My experience mostly comes from taking care of my friends' and family's pets, from tiny dogs to giant ones, velcro cats and aloof ones alike, I love them all. This year, after months of planning, I brought home a puppy! (only to be laid off a week later. yikes) But that means I am comfortable helping you train your pup if that's something you're interested in. I joined Rover to hopefully fill my days with what I love most while searching for the next step of my career in this precarious market. Whether your baby needs long walks or calm companionship, I'll make sure they get the affection and attention that they deserve. This is the second time Melia has cared for my cat and I couldn’t be happier! My cat loves her! He gets lots of attention and play time! Melia always sends a bunch of photos so I don’t worry while I am gone and I came home to a happy and healthy kitty 🐱
Melia took such great care of our little buddy and provided lots of pictures and updates! She also left our place just as we had left it which we are very grateful for.
Melia is great! Super communicative, always on time, great with my cat. She helped last minute with medication which eased my nerves. Definitely recommend!
Melia was wonderful. She had good communication with me throughout the duration of her time house sitting and watching my cat. She also understood how to properly care for a cat who is more shy and takes time to get comfortable around new people. Melia was able to get my cat to come out and play, which several cat sitters had a hard time doing. I would definitely recommend Melia.
Melia took amazing care of Munay. She was very accommodating, professional and communicative. I love that she has dogs too so my puppy could socialize during her stay. Thanks!

Schedule
I am currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I have more flexibility Friday-Monday than I do mid-week, but we can coordinate if my schedule doesn't align with what you're looking for.

I have a watchful eye to make sure your pet is safe with me at all times, especially on walks, and can send you updates on them as much as you want.

A typical day
Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, and with me your pet will get both! Your pet can expect long walks, fun puzzles, and lots of snuggles. I can also help with training.
