I’ve had a dog since I was 10, so I grew up learning how to train and care for one properly, not just from a course. Here in Amsterdam I look after dogs regularly and can put you in touch with past clients for a reference. I want to make sure your dog feels at home as possible with me!

I have used Melia twice before to keep my mini poodle safe while I have been on holiday and both times I had a great experience. She gives me updates daily which makes me feel like she understands the anxiety of having your pet away from you. She is reliable and flexible and overall very sweet to my puppy. I really recommend her service.

Schedule
I’m a student and work part-time, so I have real flexibility during the week, not just evenings and weekends. That means I can adjust to your dog’s routine rather than squeezing care in around a rigid schedule, whether that’s a midday walk, extra playtime, or just more one-on-one attention. I keep my calendar updated so you can see exactly when I’m free to book!

I’ve spent years learning to read what dogs need, when they want more attention and when they’d rather be left to settle. My home is dog-proofed, with nothing lying around they could get into or accidentally swallow. I live right next to several parks, so there’s always somewhere close for walks and playtime without needing a car. I keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout the stay so you always know how your dog is doing.
A typical day
We’ll start with a walk or run in one of the three parks near my place, so your dog gets proper exercise before we settle into games and cuddle time. I grew up with a racing dog, so I know how to read energy levels and make sure high-energy breeds get what they need, not just a short walk around the block. I’m also comfortable doing basic training and reinforcing obedience cues during our time together, so your dog comes home just as well-behaved as they left. If your dog prefers a calmer day, I’m happy to adjust and keep things relaxed and cuddle-focused instead.
