I have been dog sitting the past 4 years. Ever since I moved to Bellingham leaving my golden retriever that I grew up with at home with my parents I have loved the opportunity to care for dogs that remind me how special they are as companions. I have experience with potty training and completely understand that accidents can happen for both young and old dogs. Whatever stage of life your dog is at I will treat them with the same love and care as I would my own.

My top priority is to make sure your pets feel safe and stress free while you are away. I will always do as much as I can to maintain the same habits as they have with the owner even if that means I am sharing a bed with a massive husky! Communication is so important for me so I always offer picture updates throughout the week so that you know your pets are in good hands.

Melia did a great job taking care of my dogs and garden. She provided regular updates, asked good questions, was responsive, kept the house clean, and my dogs were very happy.

Melia was so great with our dog and three cats while housesitting! Excellent communication and our pets were all calm and happy when we returned which was the biggest sign that she was attentive to everyone’s needs. We will feel comfortable leaving Melia with our pets and home again this summer!
I believe Melia has been Moose’s favorite sitter of all time, I don’t even think he missed me. She is very attentive to all the small nuances and went above and beyond to me you feel comfortable taking a trip away from my lil man. could not recommend enough…seriously, you’re lucky if she is free

Schedule
I work 4 days a week 7am-3pm and have a lunch break that I can let dogs out. My evenings are very free to spend with your sweet pets on walks, playing in the yard, or snuggling on the couch!
