Hi! I’m Meli, and I have more than 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, from energetic puppies and kittens to sweet seniors who need a little extra patience and care. My number one priority is always your pet’s comfort and safety. I know having their people away can be stressful, so I do my best to maintain their normal routine and make their time with me feel as familiar as possible. Whether that means following their usual feeding schedule, taking their favorite walk, keeping up with bedtime routines, or simply giving them time and space to warm up to me, I meet each pet where they are. Pet sitting also has a very special place in my heart. I started caring for other people’s pets after losing my soul dog of 15 years. He was truly like a child to me, and while I wasn’t ready for another pet of my own, I still had so much love to give. That eventually led me to caring for and loving other people’s babies, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve since built and operated my own local pet-care business, Happy Paws Owasso, outside of Rover. I take the trust you place in me seriously and pride myself on being dependable, trustworthy, communicative, and attentive to the little details that make your pet feel at home. My goal is simple: for you to have peace of mind while you’re away and for your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved while they’re in my care. I am so happy I found Meli after using several pet sitters. Meli is the best. I have a senior dog who needs meds and has hip problems but, still enjoys a good walk and a visit with people in the neighborhood that know her. Meli does not mind doing any of this. She is reliable and tries to work with your pets' schedule. A few times i have needed her short notice and she some how worked Libby in. Libby abseoultely loves Meli. Libby always remembers Meli. And, added bounus Libby no longer gets mad at me when I have to leave town. She gets to stay in her home and see Meli and when I get home Libby is happy. If Meli is here she gets all the attention from Libby. I also have to cats that have madr friends with Meli which is really something when it comes to my 2 cats. Meli doesnt mind giving them treats and love when I am gone. Meli sends pictures every day. If you need to reach out to her she responds. If she has questions she will reach out. Meli does a great meet and greet before her first visit which i love.
Meli is organized and thorough with directions. I trust her completely with the care and well being of my fur babies! I’m so glad I have someone I can depend on with their care when I need the extra help!
Meli is the best! I have a 13 year old cat that has gotten more particular about things as she’s gotten older so finding someone who would happily take care of her and her quirky self was important to me. I had tried a couple people before contacting meli and I am so so glad I found her! She’s attentive, punctual, and communicates everything so well. My cat loves her and I couldn’t recommend her more!!
Meli did an amazing job with our baby Oliver while we were out of town. Meli, kept us updated with photos throughout the our trip and Ollie thoroughly enjoyed playing with her family. From the pictures it was evident he had a marvelous time. We felt very comfortable leaving him with Meli and thankful that Ollie enjoyed his time while we were away.
We had a great experience with Meli! She watched our two dogs for a week while we were remodeling our house. Our dogs had so much fun playing with her family and came home completely worn out. 😂 Meli also sent very thorough updates, which was especially reassuring since this was our first time boarding them. We always knew how they were doing and felt like they were in good hands. We would absolutely use her again!
Your pets will be in great hands with Meli! We used her while we were trying to sell our house. She helped coordinate and take so much stress off of us while people were in and out of our house for showings and for open house. She is incredibly reliable and provides updates with pictures. I will be keeping her in mind for any future pet sitting and recommending her to anyone needing a pet sitter!

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule flexible so I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I plan my days around their feeding, potty, exercise, and care routines rather than expecting them to adjust to mine. This allows me to provide dependable, attentive care while keeping their normal schedule as consistent as possible. 🐾

I care for every pet based on their individual needs, personality, and normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow their care instructions closely, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I also respect that some pets need extra time and space to feel comfortable with someone new. My goal is always to keep their routine as familiar as possible so they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away. 🐾 For pets in my home, all pets are required to be kenneled at night for their safety and must be non-aggressive towards people and children.
A typical day
It all depends on what your pet loves! 🐾 We can go on walks, play fetch, have plenty of toy and playtime, explore the backyard, practice tricks for treats, or just enjoy some quality cuddle time. For senior or more laid-back pets, I’m just as happy providing gentle companionship and lots of love. I always tailor our time together to your pet’s personality, energy level, and favorite activities!
