Ive lived with animals my whole life. I love taking care of them it feeds my soul! Towards their later years I was responsible with administering medication to them and making sure and making sure they were properly recovering from post op surgery. I also learned how to care for a dog with epilepsy. I provide calm, attentive, and personalized care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Pet parents trust me to walk, feed, bathe, and comfort their pups with consistency and kindness. I’ve cared for everything from high-energy breeds to senior dogs needing gentle support, always creating a loving environment where pets feel safe and happy. I have experience with senior dogs, I’ve taken care of two who had critical conditions that needed attentive care for 2 years.

I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for right at home. I’ll stick to their routine, whether that means walks, meals, crate time, or anything else that helps them feel secure and happy. I’ll treat your home with respect and keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how things are going. If with me I have a large neighborhood and a front yard so walks and potty breaks should be very fun and mentally stimulating.

Melanie was such a great sitter for our sweet puppy! She was communicative and on time which was a huge help for us! We would 100% book again and recommend her for anyone needing a trusty sitter!
First sits always require more communication. I had written and verbal instructions which I know can be like drinking from of firehose, especially when the sit includes house and pups (4) for 8 days. Melanie handled it well and we did need some clarification but not any issues that would prevent us from using her in the future. Dogs were cared for and the house was ok. May sound like a low bar but it is not. The pups were excited to see her.
Melanie has watched our dog several times! She’s always sending photos and updates about him. She’s terrific!
Melanie was so wonderful with our two dogs. She was easily reachable and sent photos of the pups daily. Finnegan loved her and she even sat on the floor with him so he could sit on her lap. A wonderful sitter who put my mind at ease.
Melanie is amazing! We have now used her several times to dog sit for us. She is very responsive and sends lots of photos/videos. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care throughout the day. I'm available and have a very fluid schedule. Your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked, I’m around to give them the attention they deserve.
