The perfect playdate!
My dog is a husky/malamute mix who is the most docile canine I’ve ever known. He can be energetic and playful with dogs of literally all sizes and personalities. I’m a real estate agent and work from home, but wake up very early! We cannot do pickups after 7p so anything late needs to be scheduled next day unless confirmed prior to booking.

Melanie communicated with me very well. Especially when there was a concern about my little Chewbacca. She sent pictures and updates multiple times. That helped me be at ease with Chewbacca being away from me. We even did a meet and greet before to make sure it was a good fit. Chewbacca was well taken care of and happy with Melanie.
My dog is missing a leg, so I'm very careful about who takes care of him when I travel for work. During my first meeting with Melanie, she took the time to make sure her dogs would interact safely with him and that there would be no issues. That immediately helped build my trust in her and the environment she provides. I was also very impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was, especially considering she has two large dogs in the house. While I was away, she sent me photos of my dog, which gave me peace of mind and showed that she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. Overall, I felt confident that my dog was safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Melanie to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

***Just booking regulars right now.*** I don’t leave my own dog home for more than 4 hours on a work day by himself but also have a doggie door (when I’m home only), and a large home with hard floors for the pups to roam.

I have a fenced yard but keep my dog inside when I’m not at home. I’ve got a doggie cam and check in (and talk) to my dog frequently if I have to be gone!

A typical day
We go on a walk every morning before I bike. My hubby is home 12-1p and most days I work from home. I have days where I’m gone 2-3 hours. We typically have dinner by 5-6p and relax most evenings.
