Home from home doggy care
I am a single mum to a 7 year old and have grown up with dogs since being a young girl. For the last 14 years I have had a German Shephard who has kept me busy, however since losing her last year I have missed having a dog around the house. I am not able to commit to one full time, however do have the time to help families who struggle to find someone they trust to look after there bundles of joy. Walking is a passion of mine so they will get lots of time out in the fields and woods. I also like trips to the seaside so they would be taken with me. Your dog will be treated as part of my family, given lots of play time, love and cuddles.

Highly recommend Mel, Bruce had a great time and was very well looked after, Mel sent lots of pictures and kept in touch to tell us how he was doing which put our minds at ease. We will definitely be using Mel again to look after Bruce.
Genuinely amazing.
Mel was amazing! We had a sitter (via Rover) who let us down fairly last minute and Mel was happy to be able to help us out. When we met her we knew that Maya was going to be well looked after and that she was going to safe in a loving environment. We had updates & I'm fairly certain that Maya didn't want to come home after being BFs with Mel's daughter. We're so grateful and would use Mel again in a heartbeat
Coco had a fantastic time with Melanie, it was the first time we had left her with someone she didn’t know and we did worry but didn’t need to as she had a great time. Was great to get a photo to see how settled she was on the first night and also see her happy face when we collected her and it was obvious she had enjoyed herself. Definitely will be using Melanie again!
Mel was great- Lily took to her straight away and seemed very happy when I returned. She sent photos while we were away too. Will definitely use Mel again!
Melanie was amazing and our dogs loved staying with her!!!

Schedule
I do work, but I understand how important exercise is and therefore plenty of walks will be factored into a daily routine, along with play time in the secure garden I have.

Secure rear garden. I won’t allow the dog to run free on walks unless I am advised this is allowed. You will receive plenty of pictures and videos to reassure you whilst you enjoy your time away
A typical day
I live close by to the edge of a large field and woodland area so will spend most of the time there but I do like a drive out into the county side so your dog will have plenty of walks. I also have a large garden so when I’m not walking I will love to play with balls and toys
