Hi, I’m Mel! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally, and caring for them is something I genuinely love! I currently work at a pet boarding facility, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m also a proud pet parent to Moo, my rescue Border Collie mix, who has taught me so much about patience, positive reinforcement, and meeting each dog where they’re at. My approach to pet care is all about making your pet feel comfortable, understood, and cared for. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel at ease while your family member is in my care. I work rotating shifts, so availability varies, but I’m happy to coordinate schedules in advance! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member!

I currently offer care in your home, where I can keep your pet comfortable in their familiar environment and follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I have reliable transportation, so I’m able to travel to your home.

Melanie did a wonderful job walking my 9-month-old Border Collie. She was incredibly caring, reliable, and clearly took the time to understand his needs. Communication was always excellent, which gave me great peace of mind. I would happily work with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.
Melanie, is a great communicator and seems to be very organized and reliable. Only her second walk with Pepper, but I feel confident that Pepper is in good hands.
Melanie has Cat Sitted for me multiple times over the years for my Sphynx Cats. Sphynx cats being a very unique breed sometimes have higher maintenance requirements for care and Melanie was understanding and thorough when going through all instructions provided; she gave timely updates and I can tell my cats were comfortable being around her! I highly recommend Melanie, she provides excellent service. I would never leave my pets with anyone who doesn't seem like an animal person; Melanie exemplifies someone who truly loves animals and is passionate about their health and care.
Melanie is a kind loving and nurturing person with pet friends. She's helped cat-sit for me and was flexible with my concerns and schedule. While I was sick I was very grateful that she took care keeping my Dolly well looked after loved and cared for when I wasn't able to. She sent me updates and always kept me in the loop. Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine! I work rotating shifts, so my schedule varies day to day. I’m happy to coordinate walks, visits, and housesitting around my availability and your pet’s routine. For housesitting, we’d just need to make sure our schedules work well together so I can provide the care and attention your pet needs. I’ll always do my best to find an arrangement that works for both of us!
