I have had dogs since I was a child, and up until May 2025 my husband and I had our dog, Sophie, who unfortunately crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 19 years old 🌈 I love all pets but am most comfortable with dogs, and have no problem with any age/gender/size. I’m up for any activity level your pet might have, and am extremely careful when it comes to their safety and well-being! I’m available for whatever your pet may need, from feedings to cleaning up after your pup, or providing a night full of cuddles when you can’t be there yourself.

Our dog, Daisy, loved spending the day with Melanie. In fact, she didn’t want to go home at the end of the day. I also appreciated Melanie as a pet sitter.She was always communicative and easy going. Highly recommend!
We couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of our dog, Murphy, during our wedding weekend. Murphy was our ring bearer and Melanie brought him to and from the venue for us. She sent us pictures and videos of him enjoying play time and went above and beyond to make sure Murphy was ready for his ring bearer duties. When we picked him up, he could not have been a happier puppy! This was the first time he ever spent away from family and Melanie was the perfect option. Thank you for making our baby feel right at home. I know he loved his time with you!
Melanie and her husband Bobby were amazing with my dog Prince! Prince immediately took to them and had a great time. They were responsive and provided consistent updates.

I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule, so since I currently don’t have any of my own pets at home to love on, I’m excited to care for yours! My husband works evenings so if your pup is staying at our house, you’ll have 2 sitters most of the time to play with your dog(s)!

I’ll follow whatever protocol you need for your pet (crating or free-roam, etc.)! If caring for your dog in my home, I do have a fenced-in backyard that your dog is welcome to enjoy.

I’m comfortable with whatever you and your pup desires! Playtime outside and/or inside, car rides, walks around the neighborhood, couch snuggles, or anything in between!
