Hi there! My name is Melanie and I have always worked with animals! I have volunteered hundreds of hours to The Humane Society of Tampa Bay and took in many dogs as a foster parent for months at a time, ranging from breeds and ages (some were even too young to adopt). I can watch any breed for as long or short as needed and can handle more than one. My home is about 1500 sq feet and i have a large fenced in yard. I do have young children so the animals need to be okay with kiddo (ages 12, 11, 9 and an infant). Please feel free to contact me night or day!

Melanie & her beautiful family took the BEST CARE of my beloved Prospect while I was away to spend Thanksgiving with my daughter & grandchildren. I interviewed several sitters and I couldn't have made a better choice with Melanie! Like many others have commented, I will NEVER board my pup again. God willing, Melanie will be our "forever" pet sitter. Melanie could tell I had some anxiety about leaving my little girl with anyone -- it wouldn't have mattered who it was. She made me extremely comfortable before I even got on the plane to leave. Melanie sent me pics of Prospect relaxing comfortably in her home less than an hour after I dropped her off. Melanie's thoughtfulness in taking the time to do this for me meant the world to me because I left her home with tears in my eyes! Melanie also took the time to let me call & talk to Prospect and she sent pics regularly over the 8 days I was gone. While I missed my little girl every day, Melanie made this the VERY BEST pet sitting experience I have ever had. And I know that Prospect felt the same way! I have nothing but PRAISE for the loving care that Melanie and her family gave my Prospect while I was away.
It worked out great. Our puppy Loki was very well take care of.
Melanie was great taking care of my puppy for the weekend while I was away. She sent me daily updates and pictures of our dogs playing together.

Schedule
I am currently a stay at home mom, so I am free all day! I do have a baby that takes up a good portion of my time, but would have plenty to care for your pup!

I have a fenced in yard and children who are used to dogs and very well aware of how to treat them. The house is laid out in a manner that there is room to roam.

We enjoy taking walks and spending time outside! The yard is large enough where we could play fetch or just enjoy a day in the sun!
