Your pet is a family member, so you need someone you can trust! I've owned and cared for dogs for more than 20 years. I have experience training dogs at a very high level, including for therapy training. I am an outdoorsy adventurer who will take dogs on long walks in any type of weather. My house is spacious with a fenced yard to keep your pet active and comfortable. I'm home during the day to give your pet the time and attention they deserve.

Melanie has been such a saviour for us when we need someone to take out our dog. We’ve only ever had excellent experiences with her! She’s so kind and caring, always making sure that our boy is well cared for. I have absolute peace of mind that he’s okay on the days that Melanie comes to walk him. She’s also always so quick to respond and goes above and beyond, providing photos after each walk. I’m so thankful for her and how attentive she is, would highly recommend her!
Melanie is a godsend. On relatively short notice took our doods for the night, despite their tummy troubles. There was a meet and greet before, to make sure the fit was right. She welcomed them into her pack, took them for walks, and made them feel at home! I’m sure they were a handful and Melanie took it in stride. She sent lots of pictures and checked in often. Would recommend to others! Thank you so much for taking good care of our guys!

Schedule
I work from home at my own business, so my schedule is flexible. I can let the dogs out in the backyard at anytime. In the evening we have couches and dog beds.

I have a large home and fenced yard and a senior dog who is friendly with other dogs. I will use crating or baby gates as needed. Walks are an important part of my daily routine.
Pets
A typical day
Let's start our day with a walk around the pond behind my house. We can look at the geese and get our exercise. We'll come home for breakfast and some pets and snuggles, maybe a tug-of-war game. Another walk after breakfast, then some rest time until lunch. At lunch we'll play in the backyard with my dog. Then some more rest and another long walk in the evening. Later we'll have snuggles on the couch and playtime together.
