Hello! My name is Melanie and I have been pet and house sitting for 25 years. I shower your 4-legged family members with attention and love while they are in my care. My past pet owners have always told me they are glad to see how happy their pets are when they return home. I have experience giving medications, to include pills and injections. I will scoop your yard and clean litter boxes too! I can't run marathons, but I can give your critters a nice walk. While in your home, I take care to keep it clean. I wash my dishes, run the dishwasher, fold laundry and I wipe down all surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom before you get home. I water plants, put your trash and recycles out, sweep, vacuum and bring your mail and packages inside. I am respectful of your property. I would love to be your pet’s new sitter, and meet new friends too in the process 😊

I can’t currently board dogs where I am living as we already have two dogs. I maintain your pet’s routine including feeding them and potty breaks.

Amazing experience with Melanie housesitting my pups (12 and 3). She was attentive, kind, great with the dogs’ quirks, and communicative. I know that she took great care of my house for the short time I was away, and have every confidence that she would be perfect for longer term stays. Absolutely recommend and look forward to working with her again!
Melanie took excellent care of our pets! She took time to come and meet my nervous boy before the stay so he would be more comfortable. She was very communicative and sent updates and pictures throughout our trip.
Melanie is a fantastic dog sitter. We are so grateful we found her and will definitely use her service again in the future. She understands dog and his needs. She follows through with instructions. She sends us pictures with summary of how he was doing daily. We highly recommend her services.
This was our first experience using Rover, and Melanie made it a great one! She was respectful of our home, followed all the instructions we left, and communicated with us regularly while we were away. She even took the time to do a meet and greet with one of our dogs who can be skittish around new people, which really helped put us at ease. We’ll definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Melanie is absolutely amazing!!! She is without a doubt the Mary Poppins/Dog Whisperer for all pets! We have 2 golden doodles who have really never been alone for more than a few hours as my husband works from home. We were invited on a 10 day cruise to Alaska and were so stressed out as we were not going to leave our pups in a kennel and having someone come “check” on them daily was not going to work either. Finding Melanie was a godsend. Besides spoiling your pets with love, your pets will be happy and not stressed. My girls ate daily, and warmed up to Melanie instantly. We came back late last night and the girls have been looking for her. Melanie communicates daily and my house was cleaner when we came home than when we left. I am so thankful for Melanie because not having to stress about our pups when we were gone was a huge deal. We will be requesting/using Melanie for all future trips. Thank you so much Melanie!!!

Pet sitting with Rover is my only income so I can devote the time your pets require! This type of work fits my lifestyle best! I limit the time that i I am away at that reduces anxiety in your pets while you are away!
