I work from home, have plenty of space, and love being outside. Our house is dog-friendly already and our schedules are easy. We could go for long walks on the beach or through the part of Riverside Park that dogs are allowed. And have a golf cart to get around so they'd have a ball (pun intended). We're super active and can shift our schedule to fit the dog's.

A typical day
I'm a huge snuggler and since I work from home, we have lots of places to work and snuggle. Playing ball around the house along with keeping pups entertained with toys and interactivity keeps me entertained during the work day and after hours.

Pet care experience
After 20 years of my own rescues, I've had a quiet 6 months since my last pup passed and it's time for me to remind myself of how much I loved taking care of the little guys & gals. I have the patience of a saint after two decades of training my own fearful, abandoned little guys and am in need of a little company during the work day. My husband is also a dog-lover and we're not ready to get another one yet.

My dog was well cared for during his stay. The house is for sale and there were many people coming and going, which I found disconcerting. Originally Melanie needed to cancel but she worked it out for me. TY

Melanie is very "chill". Her house is "chill". And Charlie came home one chill pooch! What do I mean by chill? The vibe is very relaxed and calm. The floor plan is open and Charlie was allowed to roam the house as desired. There's a fenced in grassy back yard. Her house is on a nice tree-lined street with sidewalks for easy strolls. Love the pictures Melanie took of Charlie! This was his first stay, but certainly won't be the last!!
