I am a full time stay-at-home mother to four boys who also love and respect animals. I am currently available to board your dog any day of the week. I am flexible with my schedule. I prefer to board one dog at a time but I can sometimes make accommodations based on temperament, energy level, and the size of the dogs in my care. I do prefer low energy dogs who are well trained. I DO NOT ACCEPT DOGS WHO ARE AGGRESSIVE OR HAVE ACCIDENTS IN THE HOME.

A typical day
I love to go on walks around my neighborhood with the dogs. I have a fenced yard the dogs can enjoy running and playing fetch. We’ll play with toys, do tricks for treats, and even cuddle together.

My name is Melanie and I have been loving animals since I was a toddler. They are my biggest passion. I have 20+ years of experience with dogs and cats. I also have veterinary assistant experience and skills. I have been a dog walker/sitter since 2018. I have experience training puppies and older dogs as well.

Melanie was great! My dog was a little anxious for his first Rover stay, but she did her best to make him comfortable and was very responsive.
We found Melanie on Rover.com and she was great! She lives close to us, which made us feel a lot better about leaving our dog. She gave our dog such great personal care, followed all the feeding instructions perfectly and handled the medicines and supplements exactly like we asked. She gave us regular updates with pictures of our dog . She has worked previously in a vet clinic so she’s confident and knows what she’s doing with animals. Melanie is reliable and clearly loves pets. We’ll definitely book her again!
We recently moved to the area and we’re so glad we found Melanie to take care of our 15 year old Maltipoo Peanut. She gave us several updates and pictures during her stay. I would definitely recommend Melanie!
