I should be your sitter because I have both professional animal care experience and personal experience caring for pets with special needs. I’ve worked at a boarding facility and volunteered with the Arizona Humane Society, but I’ve also cared for my own diabetic dog, giving insulin and managing his routine. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and pets that need extra patience or medical care, and I’ll treat every animal like family.

I always follow a pet’s normal routine to keep them safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I double-check doors and gates, stick to feeding and walk schedules, and give regular updates so you know your pets are happy. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, secure, and cared for while you’re away.

Melanie has taken care of our dog, Hunter since we rescued him at 7 months old. She has a special bond with him. Hunter just loves his time with Melanie. She enjoys playing with him, cuddles with Hunter and giving him treats. Hunter developed seizure at a young age. Melanie took responsibility early on to see that he got his seizure medications on time, regularly. Hunter is not a good eater and Melanie has to work to get him to eat. Melanie is very patient and loving to him, always. Melanie is a responsible and loving to all animals she cares for. You can rely on her to give your furry family the best care available.

Schedule
Pet care is something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I make time for it because it’s both rewarding and a nice break from my busy college schedule. As a student at the University of Arizona, I balance classes with plenty of flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. Spending time with animals helps me de-stress from school, and I truly enjoy every opportunity I get to care for pets and give them the love and attention they deserve.

- It’s really helpful for me to know each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs ahead of time. I also like to know their energy level and what comforts them most, so I can keep them happy and stress-free while you’re away.
