Information Melanie P. would like to know about your pet

"Does Your Dog Have Special Needs?" Your dog's comfort and well-being is my top priority. Please let us know about any special needs, from dietary restrictions or medications to unique exercise requirements or routines.

A typical day

1. Morning Welcome & Settling In Dogs start their day with a warm greeting and a chance to settle in. Your dog gets time to explore the space, sniff around, and adjust to the environment at their own pace. 2. Next, we head out for a walk along the scenic canal. For high-energy dogs or XL breeds, the walk includes more structured exercise or playtime to burn off energy. Smaller or older dogs get a relaxed stroll, so everyone gets what they need for a happy day. 3. Snack & Hydration Break After the walk, we take a break to rehydrate, and if their routine allows, they’ll get a light snack to refuel. 4. Quiet Time & Sofa Cuddles Post-walk, dogs can choose their favourite cozy spot on the sofa. This is cuddle time, where they get all the affection and downtime they need to relax and feel at home. 5. Afternoon Activities Later in the day, we do another light activity session with toys or mental stimulation games, depending on their energy level and preferences. 6. Evening Wind-Down As the day wraps up, dogs get a final walk and another round of cuddles to end their day feeling relaxed, loved, and ready for their owners.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the wonderful care provided for our dog, Mexx, during our recent business trip. Melanie and her husband took excellent care of him, and it gave us great peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We are especially thankful for their flexibility when our travel plans were unexpectedly disrupted due to an airline strike. The fact that we were able to extend the service on such short notice is truly not something to be taken for granted. Their reliability, kindness, and professionalism made a stressful situation much easier for us. We are incredibly grateful to Melanie and Mark and will most certainly book their fantastic service again in the future.

Leaving Nelly for 17 days was something I was genuinely nervous about, she’s a sensitive, energetic Weimaraner who forms strong bonds, so finding the right person was very important for us. From the moment I met Mel I felt a sense of calm. Mel didn’t just “look after” Nelly, she truly cared for her. It was clear that she took the time to understand Nelly’s personality and quirks, and treated her as an individual rather than just another dog. Throughout the entire stay, we received frequent updates and photos, that reassured me Nelly was genuinely happy and relaxed. When we collected Nelly, she was content, well-exercised, and clearly very comfortable with Mel which says everything. It’s obvious that Mel creates a fun and loving environment, and that she has a natural connection with dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to leave Nelly with her again. Knowing she was in such capable and caring hands made all the difference. Mel is truly exceptional at what she does.
